The Salt Lake Tennis Club provides the best facilities and instruction possible so our students can improve their tennis games and have fun learning the great sport of tennis.
Our coaches and instructors love to teach people of all ages the sport for a lifetime. It’s exhilarating to see young players grow up as individuals through the process of learning and improving their tennis games. We’ve created an innovative program that successfully integrates a commitment to excellence, daily lessons in good sportsmanship, and a high-spirited atmosphere of fun. The enthusiasm and experience of our staff combined with the comprehensive Salt Lake Tennis Club training system guarantees that one week in our classes will have a significant and positive impact on a young player’s tennis game. Students attending the Salt Lake Tennis Club classes are coached in all aspects of the game–sportsmanship, stroke production, speed, agility, strategy, physical conditioning, and mental skills.
Teaching students to understand the subtle nuances as well as the basic concepts of tennis makes the sport fun and ensures optimal improvement. Making progress toward an exciting goal, taking on challenges, and working hard in a fun and inspiring atmosphere is what our club is all about.

World Class Facilities
The Salt Lake Tennis & Health Club is the home of the Salt Lake Tennis Camp and is an iconic tennis club in Utah not only because of it’s longevity but because of it’s outstanding tennis and swimming facilities. Our 17 tennis courts (five of them indoors) are newly resurfaced and offer superb playability. The Club’s outdoor pool gives our campers an opportunity to relax, refresh themselves, and have fun during a hot day of tennis and fitness. The Club has a `top of the line’ snack bar that features healthy and delicious choices for breakfast and lunch. The Club’s air conditioned lobby and locker rooms round out the array of fine facilities making the Salt Lake Tennis Camp the ideal place for your child to learn tennis and have fun!

STARS Tennis Programs
This program is designed for young players of all skill levels ages 3-12 using Red, Orange & Green balls, following the USTA 12 & under protocols. This class is for aspiring young tennis player(s) whether a first-time beginner or already competing in USTA tournaments. High School Development Programs
This program is designed for the beginner, and intermediate to advanced level player that is looking to develop skills in order to participate at a recreational, high school or tournament level. The evening sessions are designed for players participating in their high school programs wanting a little extra practice after. These classes will cover all aspects of technical, physical, and mental training with emphasis on match play and decision making during points. Salt Lake Tennis Academy Program
This is a selective program for experienced junior tournament players recognized by their sectional results and ranking. Having made a commitment to their tennis, these players are willing to work hard and put in the maximum efforts to attain their goals. They are capable of training and playing more physically, utilizing solid patterns of play. Practices adhere to a dynamic weekly theme style covering all aspects of the game; consistency, attack, counter attack, net game, patterns of play, doubles and specialty shots. Consistency and footwork are a daily part of practice, as well as, focusing on shot selection and strategy. Point play, doubles and singles sets will all be played each week, and players will be rewarded for correctly recognizing and executing the weeks’ theme in a live ball situation. Players in this program progress by working on their individual style of play and “weapon” development. In addition to the on-court work, players will also participate in fitness and conditioning as part of their daily practice.
