This week we celebrate another major step in the ongoing transformation of our fitness center and training programs. Under the leadership of Jaxon and Ross, we have re-designed the fitness center in a way that matches the philosophy and training regimens of our incredible fitness training staff. Whether one-on-one personal training or small group training our staff demonstrate, coach, and inspire our members every day and in every way to maximize life-long fitness improvement in a fun, healthy, and motivational way.

The Salt Lake Tennis and Health Club has ushered in the beginning of a new era. We have completed a remodel and re-design of our main fitness floor. The equipment we are adding is designed to maximize your functional strength capabilities. This was all created with the unified vision of our staff to help our members achieve their fitness goals whether that is everyday functional movements or an emphasis on strength.

Our trainers are ready and rarin’ to introduce you to this state-of-the-art equipment that is designed for custom training routines and extraordinary versatility by offering free workshops demonstration and coaching our members on how to properly – and safely – operate the new equipment.

Here is a brief summary of the facts and the philosophy of this major evolutionary step in our club’s growth:

  • Every piece of new equipment we selected met our strict requirements and needed to be sturdy, safe, easy to use and meet the needs of our members.
  • We have a terrific replacement for every piece of equipment that we have removed.
  • Each piece of equipment in the new design was selected because it’s an important part of a comprehensive and complete strength-training center.
  • The strength training area is set up to ensure there is a strong connection to the philosophy and practice of our personal and group training programs.
  • We’ve added more turf to give our members the opportunity to utilize this important training area on your own and at all times.
  • The equipment location is set up to ensure equipment usage to be safe, convenient, and as efficient as possible.

We hope you are as inspired as we are by the new equipment and design, we definitely want your feedback because we learn by communicating and listening to our members.  It is you and your needs we aim to please.

SLTHC Performance Lab and BridgeAthletic

Salt Lake Tennis and Health, along with our Performance Lab, is now using the BridgeAthletic platform to create and deliver custom programs to our members. With programs delivered directly to your phone, your workout schedule can now be flexible. Workout plans are designed to reduce injury risk, improve movement, and prepare you for whatever life throws your way. Join us for 1-1 training in person or remote so we can start accomplishing your goals, together.

When you sign up for a personal, or group training program, BridgeAthletic is one of the benefits of those programs. Your training coach will guide you through setting up your Bridge App and create an ongoing program specifically designed for you!

What is BridgeAthletic?

Features and Benefits

Train From Anywhere

Train remotely or in-house with the BridgeTracker app. Customized programs built out by our team will be delivered directly to your phone or tablet. Each program will contain video tutorials and instructions to walk you step by step through exercises for the same results as 1-1 training.

Track Everything

You will have access to all your exercise history, performance gains, and daily readiness to monitor your own growth. But you aren’t in this alone, weekly engagement emails will be sent out so we can track your progress together.

Seamless Communication

In-app communication will ensure nothing is lost with distance. Use BridgeAthletic’s Team Stream to direct message your trainer with any questions, comments or updates. Keep the conversation going by leaving a note, video, or photo attached to exercises so your trainer can assess the form and answer questions.

BridgeAthletic and Salt Lake Performance Lab

Our Salt Lake Performance Lab is THE BEST TRAINING available for our members and guests. When you sign up for a one on one training package or a small group training package, you also will be given access to the BridgeAthletic App. Your training coach will design workouts specific to your goals which you can access through the BridgeAthletic App.

Can I use the BridgeAthletic App and not purchase a training package?

REMOTE TRAINING

If you are a DIY’er when it comes to fitness, have a schedule that doesn’t work well for a training class, would like to workout at home some days, but would like the guidance of a training program designed specifically for YOU, then ask about our REMOTE TRAINING option.

Our remote training is $250.00 per month and requires a minimum of a 3-month commitment.

You must schedule one session a month – via Zoom, Facebook Messenger, Skype, or in person – with your trainer, so they may reassess goals, adjust the workouts and programming of the BridgeAthletics App to coincide with your progress.

Junior Performance Training

Improves performance on and off the field, the court, the mountain… wherever you need to compete and improve performance.

Ages 13 Years and Older

These are group sessions – limited class size is 8-10 students

The goal of the Junior Performance Training is to improve each individual’s athletic ability. This will be done by increasing mobility, first step explosiveness, power output, and full-body strength. Each person in the class has a different starting place, so each workout will be geared towards what each individual needs to improve on and off the court.
