Our first home swimming and diving meet is Monday, June 22nd. Please read this for all the important details on what this means for members and guests.

Main things to expect during a home swimming and diving meet

Pool will close at 3:00 PM to all non participants

All members and guests using the pool will be asked to leave at 3:00 PM and from that time until closing, only swimming and diving meet participants, their families and volunteers will be allowed in the pool area.

Our parking lot will be full – plan accordingly

Our swimming and diving team has over 240 members this season. Not all participate in every meet, but with the large number of kids, the opposing team participants, and all of their supporters, the parking lot will be completely full and overflow parking in the nearby neighborhoods will also be busy. If you are coming to the club after 3:00 PM for tennis, to workout, attend a group exercise class, or clinic, plan to arrive 10–15 minutes earlier than normal so you have time to find a parking spot on a nearby side street and make the short walk to the club.

DO NOT PARK ILLEGALLY OR IN SPOTS MARKED NO PARKING! You may be towed if you park in no parking areas in our lot. Our lot is very tight as it is, so those blocking traffic because they are in no parkings zones will be asked to move or be towed.

Salt Lake traffic enforcement WILL TICKET cars parked in no parking areas along 1700 East. Make sure to park in legal parking spots.

Traffic inside of the club will be very busy

As you can imagine, the added swimming meet attendees and participants will make the club very busy. High traffic will mostly be in the pool and cafe areas. Swimming meet participants are not allowed in other areas of the club – such as the basketball courts, turf room, cardio areas, tennis courts, workout areas, etc. – and we do our best to keep kids out of those areas.

We only have 1 remaining home meets this summer!

We apologize for the inconvenience the meets cause but it is only 3 days out of the summer. Thank you members and guests for your cooperation and understanding during these Swimming Meets.

Remaining 2026 home swim meets:

July 13

Swimming and Diving Lessons

Swimming lesson in progress at the Salt Lake Tennis and Health Club

Swimming Lessons

Swimming is an essential, life saving skill for anyone to learn, and the earlier the better. Our kids programs begin by teaching the basic levels of swimming, then progress into more advanced strokes and techniques.

Our small class sizes – 3 to 6 kids maximum to each instructor (youngest children have a max of 3 kids) – assures that your children get the attention they deserve. We also have a class which invites a parent to be in the pool with their child under the age of 3, with the guidance of our instructors.

Diving Lessons

Kids love the thrill of jumping into the water. Our diving lessons teach kids how to properly complete different types of dives and expand their skills on a springboard.

Whether they are doing it just for fun, to overcome a fear of the diving board, or have aspirations to compete on the diving team, our experienced instructors help them achieve their goals.

Swimming and Diving Lesson info: Click the button below for session information and to download the sign up forms.

SIGN UP NOW! Non-members registration opens on March 9th! Secure your spot before they all fill up.
