About the Developmental Coach of the Year Award

Initiated in 2015, this award is given periodically to recognize the outstanding individual efforts of a developmental coach in the Utah District. This coach is being honored for his or her unending dedication to developing junior tennis players at all ability levels through teaching and coaching, presence at tournaments and events and the ability to positively impact the lives of junior players on and off the court.

EARLY BIRD WORKOUT
Warm-up, fast-paced skills and games – workout.

Tuesdays and Thursdays  6:00 AM – 7:30 AM

FUN NIGHT
Taught by Karl Ward (Head tennis pro at SLTHC)
Skills instruction, fun games, and a good cardio workout.

Tuesdays 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

FUN BALL
Improve your tennis skills while getting a fantastic cardio workout.

Thursdays 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

SKILLS CLASS
This class is designed to improve a single skill during each 1 1/2-hour class. USTPA skills class.

FUN MORNING

Skills and Drills Lesson. Then these skills are put into practice games to strengthen your skills.

A favorite for many people – it is designed to meet tennis friends and have fun playing doubles with advanced players.

This class is designed for beginning players to meet tennis friends and have fun playing doubles.
An instructor will be on the court for the entire class to help with every aspect of the game. A friendly atmosphere to have fun and learn the great game of tennis.
