We are so proud to announce that one of our former High Performance students, recently won the 2026 DIII National Championship with the Wesleyan University Tennis Team!

Alexandra Burnett – or “Rosie” as she is known to the Salt Lake Tennis and Health Club community – recently won the 2026 DIII National Championship with her Wesleyan University Tennis Team.

Rosie’s hard work and progression from our ROG program, to the High Performance program, National Team at SLTHC, and then on to playing College Tennis at Wesleyan University, paid off immensely with this National Championship title.

Rosie stopped by recently to share her accomplishment with Georgy Batrakov, our High Performance Director and some of the other coaches that have been instrumental in her tennis development. She also gave us an interview and showed off some of her tennis talent on the court. Check out the video for the full story.

Our first home swimming and diving meet is Monday, June 22nd. Please read this for all the important details on what this means for members and guests.

Main things to expect during a home swimming and diving meet

Pool will close at 3:00 PM to all non participants

All members and guests using the pool will be asked to leave at 3:00 PM and from that time until closing, only swimming and diving meet participants, their families and volunteers will be allowed in the pool area.

Our parking lot will be full – plan accordingly

Our swimming and diving team has over 240 members this season. Not all participate in every meet, but with the large number of kids, the opposing team participants, and all of their supporters, the parking lot will be completely full and overflow parking in the nearby neighborhoods will also be busy. If you are coming to the club after 3:00 PM for tennis, to workout, attend a group exercise class, or clinic, plan to arrive 10–15 minutes earlier than normal so you have time to find a parking spot on a nearby side street and make the short walk to the club.

DO NOT PARK ILLEGALLY OR IN SPOTS MARKED NO PARKING! You may be towed if you park in no parking areas in our lot. Our lot is very tight as it is, so those blocking traffic because they are in no parkings zones will be asked to move or be towed.

Salt Lake traffic enforcement WILL TICKET cars parked in no parking areas along 1700 East. Make sure to park in legal parking spots.

Traffic inside of the club will be very busy

As you can imagine, the added swimming meet attendees and participants will make the club very busy. High traffic will mostly be in the pool and cafe areas. Swimming meet participants are not allowed in other areas of the club – such as the basketball courts, turf room, cardio areas, tennis courts, workout areas, etc. – and we do our best to keep kids out of those areas.

We only have 1 remaining home meets this summer!

We apologize for the inconvenience the meets cause but it is only 3 days out of the summer. Thank you members and guests for your cooperation and understanding during these Swimming Meets.

Remaining 2026 home swim meets:

July 13

INTRODUCING

STRONG FOUNDATIONS

A NEW SMALL GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM

IN THE SALT LAKE PERFORMANCE LAB

STRONG FOUNDATIONS

Cost is only $200 per month for members and $250 per month for non-members

A small group program designed for adults who want guidance from a professional trainer and enjoy working out in a group environment. This program is designed to create an athletic foundation that will improve overall fitness, increase athletic performance, prevent sports related injuries, increase movement, and help you feel better overall.

Workouts will be structured and each participant will be given access to a phone app that tracks each workout schedule, helps you track progress, and workout metrics.

Sessions are twice per week – Mondays and Thursdays – at 5:30 PM. That is 8 sessions per month of guided personal training with one of our top trianers.

OTHER BENEFITS

  • Access to a specialized phone app specific to this program which will outline each workout for you, track your progress, and other workout metrics.
  • Workout in a amall group atmosphere, that provides support, incentive, and fun, than working out alone.
  • This group is limited to a maximum number of participants, allowing our trainers to give each person individual attention and instruction when needed, setting it apart from a large group exercise class.
  • Workouts are performed in the club’s exclusive “Performance Lab” with our highest quality, high tech equipment, and a more private workout experience.
  • Much less expensive than other personal training options.
